Cancer Research

Research studies, also known as clinical trials, are used to try out new ways to treat cancer.
These studies look for better ways to treat cancer and help cancer patients.

Some research studies test new medicines and new ways to treat cancer with surgery or radiation.
Research also tests new ways to prevent and detect cancer. Research can also test ways to reduce the side effects of cancer treatment and to improve the quality of a cancer patient’s life.
